Last week, I avoided thinking about this week by ripping out the red tip photinias and replanting them elsewere.
In there place, are colombine, giant lirope, susan magnolia trees and I think thats it. It looks better in person....as usuall

Keeping busy....

means that many of the projects we "meant" to do are getting done. We are going for a tropical look in the back. From left to right are Chineese palm, Adam's needle yucca, the blank spot is for a potted amerello (sp?) and the pink are bogenvilla- just out of the shot is a purple mountain laurel. I think the mountain laurel will probably not make it. It is from last year and really didn't like being moved... we will see.

Trip to grandma and grandpa's

Spring break and skiing.....

We were able to ski. The ride up was a little interesting, See the sign? That is the entrance to the ski area. Luckily-we took a chance and there really was snow.

Chris and Will decided to snow board. Thankfully, they took lessons.

***The Cakes***

Mason's cake(s) are the leggos. Originally I was going to do a space ship....at the last minute I changed my mind. Kinda unique?Will just walked up and looked at the pictures.- he assures me they look MUCH better in real life.....

Kira really didn't care what kind of cake she got- she was interested in the toys. tomorrow for the party Pikachu (the little yellow one) will go on the cake as well as a candle.
