Happy Birthday Grandpa AL

Since Mason and I won't be able to join the festivities next weekend, we thought we would tape a little family message to Grandpa. Kira and Mason got to participate in the "baking" process (see pic). We actually put 80 candles on the cake. As you can imagine, by the time we got all the candles lit and sang only stubs of the candles remained and our cake was waxed up. Apparently I had some trick candles in the mix- yup about 5 of those little suckers kept lighting up as we were trying to get the other candles up and out and keep the kids hands back!

Kira has been working on us for a dog for a long time.....we thought it would be a good time to try a fish again. This time we have a beta fish. We don't have a name for him yet. I think it was "Frankie" as of this morning....

Purple fever

The passion vine has taken off like crazy. There are about 8 flowers getting ready to flower. Hopefully they will all bloom at once.

We just bought tickets for K and Will to go home to celebrate Grandpa's 80th birthday!
I told Kira and she is very happy she will have some time with "everyone away from Mason". (Her words.) :)

Circus circus!!!

The Circus came to town. We went to see it with our neighbors. It was so much fun-Just before the circus they had an area where you could see the animals up close and meet the clowns. Mason and Kira really enjoyed it.
